FOUR STEPS TO SPIRITUAL GROWTH

You don’t need a green thumb to grow from within.  Sometimes even the grandest garden gets its start from one single vine.  As you plant seeds in your life, you plant hope-and soon that hope transforms into your new life.

I invite you to plan a single flower to represent God’s most perfect seed: YOU.  Think about what you want to grow in your flower pot.  What are you growing in your own divorce life?…

Follow these helpful ‘gardening tips’ as you plant the seed for Spiritual Growth:

1. Take time to evaluate your life. What do you need more of?  What could you use less of?  Do you have some weeds that need tending to?

2. Be intentional. What am I doing daily to make life happen?  Am I just sitting on my thoughts or am I acting on them?  Does my flower need special attention or am I starting to ignore her needs?

3. Enjoy the beauty. You are a perfect flower in God’s glorious garden.  Take time to soak in each moment, albeit sun or clouds.  Remember, even the most beautiful flower needs rain.

Engage in the process. Don’t try to take on the entire garden at once; begin with one individual flower.  Pull one toxic weed at a time.  Before you it, you will be surrounded by a garden of God’s love.

As your flower begins to take root, be mindful of your intentions.  Do your words align with your actions?  Are you the head gardner of your life.

Let Emerge as we grow together,

Sandra
